Got this I'm a blind tasting last night. Must admit I was a bit confused - pinned it as an '82 Bordeaux but, even though I thought it was left bank, I couldn't pin it down. Probably due to the 85% Merlot(!)... A great ringer for a blind tasting!
Definitely on the downslope but still din decent shape, if a little dusty. Nose of plumbs, ripe quince, moss, and a hint of the soles of a new pair of trainers after a jog in a rained out cabbage patch. Acidity was good but tannins a bit ropey.
