Fucking brilliant.

Blackberry current, black cherry liquor, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries paint the end palate, stoney minerals, black earth, leathery, black tea, ginger, sage, menthol, tobacco, a touch of black tar, sawdust tannins on the finish. Give it another 5 years.

Killer! Textbook G.C.C. In a great evolutionary spot with a notably long, expansive, finish.

So good. Super second my ass. This wine is so delicious year in and out regardless of vintage. A total bargain compared to its thieving neighbors

2001 is still young on this gem. Eucalyptus, blackberries and cassis on nose. Dark bing cherry and toasted cocoa nibs on mid palate. Finish with dry elegance with slight cinnamon spice in end.
