This was amazing. By far the best Cos I’ve enjoyed to date. Stinky burnt goat hair on the nose. Incredible mouth feel with elongated finish. Completely well rounded tannins. Wonderful experience. Burnt raspberries on the pallet. Yumalicious

Nose had some funk with leather, mineral and a hint of red liquorice. Evolved nicely with fruit coming out after an hour or so. Blackberry, blueberry were present after the earthy start.

1997 vintage was rated 87 by Parker and I drank this over 5 days closing with vacuvin between dinners. Best day? The last one really! The first day was better than expected for this vintage earthy, leather, touch of vegetal notes but last day was allspice, lavender like notes, dark cherries. No tannin, smooth, medium body. A pleasure. Best thing is there two more in cellar! Enjoy!
