2006, A great second wine, complex , rich and elegant. Deep red, enchanting complex nose, with licorice, black current, violets, chocolate, minerals and more. Full body, round, smooth, with medium tannins, lovely acidity and elegance. Long finish. A truly enjoyable wine. My score 89, drink 2013-2020

What an amazing wine to try esp after trying the 2016 earlier. Beautiful nose, big hits of cassis, followed by classic notes of oak, vanilla and ripe fig. Lots of honeyed bramble, strawberry, even smoky notes of salami and other charcuterie. Heavenly juice in the bottle. 13%

Strong, almost on the verge of bein' distastefull, however once diluted in the mouth, an amalgam of firm berry tastes and an earthly feeling overcome. The retrotaste is fantastic. Wonderful choice for bread, brie, charcuterie...
