A blend of Merlot (80%) and equal parts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Attractive nose with blueberry, vanilla and even a hint of truffle. Good fruit concentration, noticeable but integrated oak, slightly rustic tannin and good spicy length. A few more years of bottle ageing should round off the edges. Good value at 12 euros. Abv. 14,5 %.

Nice surprise here, drinking at peak. Mushroom, mint and forest on the slightly maderized nose, with cedar, eucalyptus, tobacco notes on the palate, while still hanging on to some red fruit character. Good stuff.
