Initial gamey, stew-like reductivity gives way to rich, medium plus intensity and complexity of fruit forward baked plum, cassis, menthol, pastry and camp fire. Medium plus body, medium acid, lengthy but plush astringency. Medium plus alcohol 14% gives a prickle on the entire palate. Malted chocolate on the medium plus finish complimented by mouth filling violet perfume, dried plum, raisin, tobacco, cedar and a hefty dose of bitter.
