Quite viscous on the swirl, dark and seems unfiltered; clean on the nose, typical blue and black fruit like mul- and blue-berries, black currant, and nice pyrazines, ceder, and graphite, very little oak; taste is fruit and acid rich, mid-palate moderately exciting but at the finish it almost explodes in a spicy, opulent rush. Interesting, well made and priced right.

Remarkable, restrained, smoky nose, light texture, low 12,5% vol. I was surprised and frankly seduced by this wine. First I approached with caution (which I think everyone does with Chinese wine TBH) but the gentleness of this wine won me over. The nose has a herbal, grippy blackcurrant fruit and a rich Tobacco leaf smoky note. Palate is drying but full of tar'y black fruit with a richness that lingers.
