Ripe with lush fruit but underlying minerality steers it back to Bdx. The longer it sits in the glass the more French it gets. Nice to taste the Rouge for a change. #blindtasting #carbonnieux #bordeaux

Great evolution since my first bottle 1,5 years ago. Tannins are well integrated, I wonder if this will get even better in time

Adorable wine. Still some evolution ahead but definitely ready to drink. Nice cedar nose and soft tannins in the taste.

Very nice young Bordeaux, powerful nose with dark fruit, Wood, metal and almost blue cheese funk. Dark red in colour with a strong palate; a little disjointed to start with but it develops nicely after a couple of hours and has nice fruit with liquorice and oak. Will definitely smooth out and the price point means some low risk experimentation.

Solid value for a Bourdeaux. Paired well with Costco trim tip.

Earthy, oaky, notions of damp soil and mossy bark... what better wine to drink the first cold week of autumn? This wine is medium in color and body, but superlative in the sweet harmonies it whistles in your mouth as you trade off between sips and bites of humboldt fog. That whistle can feel a bit shrill, but all in all the structure is solid and the dark red fruit core is splendid.
