Both loved it, but Mrs B has woken with a frightful headache. One for me on my own next time. 😉

Deep ruby, deep blackcurrant and oak on the nose, dry, rich tannins. Fruity with vanilla and spicy notes. Long.

Very good although quite tannic. I am going to wait 4-5 years to open my remaining bottles. Well balanced. Good fruit but also leathery, some tobacco and cedar. Great QPR! Not a big wine but would definitely stand up to grilled meats, full flavored hard cheeses, crusty breads and grilled vegetables. Actually quite elegant.

Deep opaque ruby colour with strong wooden notes. Passably dry with a well balanced body; not light, not the wholest in mouth either. An altogether delectable experience though some may find it aggressively alcoholised.

Lovely wine, slight acidity on first taste then smooth deep and mellow with berry tones.
