Similar to my prior note. Dominated by burning wood and campfire aromas and flavors. Decanted for 1hr+ but probably could have PnP’d. My style, but could use more depth. Medium plus finish. French Bordeaux all the way, no question!

Aug 1st, 20201 hour decant. Dark red color with some brownish highlights. Nose is complex with olives, campfire, cow shit, and minor floral elements. Wine contains massive olives and earth. Lacks some depth but just my style! Medium plus finish. Doesn’t have many years left in it. Really enjoyed it!

Just past ruby in color. Leather, tobacco, raspberry and chocolate. Despite the issues with the Bordeaux '03s, absolutely lovely to drink now.
