Alongside Montrose '90 this is one of the standouts of the vintage, such a great intensity & just the right amount of development creeping in, its a drink now wine though, was decanted for an hour & really started to shine.

When at bern's....
Amazingly consistent through 2-3 hours....fresh, tannic, and perfectly balanced. Beautiful red fruits and tobacco, finish lasting forever.

Nov 19th, 2017Nose is subtle without the usual Cabernet cedar or spice butter wine is full and rich on the palate. Subtle soft tannins and leathery flavors this will go on for many years but unlikely to improve.
