Insanely deep and balanced, especially for $10 on markdown at Costco. Cherry, cooked plum, blackberry, cinders, minerals, floral, heavy tannin and the same time smooth on the palate. Loving this.

This one is like the model who doesn't need to acknowledge the years that've passed because they've done nothing to her figure. Fantastic structure, finesse, and complexity. The pyrazine action is contained and the fruit aromas are beginning to phase towards the savory spectrum.

Enjoying this wonderful medoc at Cassis I’m Calgary. One of my all time favourite restos - One of the things I miss about Calgary. Good berry and plum up front with peppery finish. A bit dry, but was good with fatty (read delicious) charcuterie plate we had to start. This one will age well.

Sharp, bitter earth, dark fruit, not for me

INSANE value here. Fruit forward for the region, chocolate, graphite, some earthiness underneath. Firm tannins, but round finish that ends nicely. It's great. Lacks the complexity of the "better" crus, but possibly the best value Boudreaux I've had.

What a lovely Bordeaux! Merlot, Cabernet, and Petit Verdot combine for a silky, elegant wine. On the nose, plum and dark fruit and cherries. On the palate, more dark fruit and almost cooked, mellow plum notes. Cherries come in on the finish. Perfect for a filet mignon.
