My local Costco was clearing out a few cases of this. Unimpressive nose but full bodied with mild tannin. Paired well with pork ribs.

Aromas of blackberries, charcoal, tobacco, bay leaf, and crushed rocks. Similar on the palate, with black fruit, tobacco, spice and mineral notes. Medium-bodied with a good finish. For a Tannat-based blend, the tannins are remarkably soft and rounded. A really good bottle for only $15. Costco does it again!
