The nose reveals, dark floral fruits interlaced with gorgeous spice. Blackberries, dark cherries, haunting blueberries, black plum, black raspberries, dark rich soil, vanilla, cinnamon, clove, limestone, crushed rock powder and amazing blue and purple florals.

The texture is elegant and beautiful. The tannins soft, tarry with velvety dust. This is so easy to drink now but, wait 6 more years. It’s fresh and delicious. Ripe; blackberries, dark cherries, haunting blueberries, black plum, black raspberries, some boysenberries, dark rich soil, vanilla, cinnamon, clove, big dark powerful spice limestone, dark rich soils, crushed rock powder and amazing blue and purple florals. The acidity is perfect. The structure, tension is still big but, the length and balance phenomenal. Can’t wait to have this in 5-6 years. The well polished finish is; elegant, persistent, heady and beautiful. Potential 95 with more in time in bottle. One tiny issue, there’s touch of alcohol burn in the back of the throat but, think it fades in time.

Photos of, Chateau Boswell, Silverado Trail signage, their entrance gate and driveway and Estate vines in the Summer not the empty vines we saw.

Dark color. Oozing with big, dense, dark fruit. Not for the IPOB crowd. Made by Russell Bevan and named after winery owners’ granddaughter. 14.8% ABV.

One of the better full Bodied Pinots we have had in a while. Reading some of the earlier comments about heat, tells us this Pinot needs to sit in the bottle. Believe it or not it was wonderful with the fillet.

Finally got it. Best Pinot Noir I have tried. Bold flavor and wonderful nose.

very nice nose. powerful red fruit and that seductive pinot-ness. however, on the palate quite a bit hot and it throws off the finish.

It says Pinot Noir on the bottle so I’ll believe them, but I would have a called Napa cab of some sort, and a big one at that. Varietal aside, this drank well. If you think Napa cab while you’re drinking or pairing it, it works well.

Nose is floral, spicy, dark fruit. Blackberry, black cherry, plum, leather. Satiny smooth tannins. Very well balanced. Drinking very nicely after a short decant. National Pinot Noir day so had to try something new for me.

Big pinky noir. Deep ruby colored. Cherry and plum, vanilla on the nose. Dark cherry, plum, some blue and black fruit mixed in. Soft velvety tannins.
