Aug 18th, 2020Light ruby hue with medium-high saturation. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, earthy, leather, plum, raspberry, and vanilla. I also got a subtle hint of Brettanomyces yeast. Medium body; firm, full, yet rounded tannins; and medium-plus acidity. Fresh nose; smooth mouthfeel; easy finish. Blend of 65% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Cabernet Franc. Approachable, everyday red.
