drinking really nice for being so young. Ripe plum and boysenberry, herbal backdrop. Firm tannins.

Nice full body. Not too heavy on the tannins. Soft finish.

Late lunch he says......
2pm he says....
Just after 4pm he says

4:20.... open that bottle Jeffrey.

Fruit on the front pallet but finishes nice... smooth and dry. Delish.

An award winner every year, Chateau Bellevue Peycharneau is an extraordinary wine produced from a 37-acre hillside vineyard on the far-easter border of Bordeaux, near Bergerac. Deep purple color, Intense, expensive nose of red cherries, blackberries, toast and licorice. Riche and concentrated in the mouth with silky tannins and a nice long finish. Enjoy alone or with steaks, pork loin, turkey and cheeses.

Dark berries, nice structure and subtle tannins on the finish.

To me, this is an underrated wine on this site. It recently received 91 pts from a renowned reviewer and in my mind it is worth every point. When you combine the price point, the wonderful blend, and the expressive nose of dark berries and cherries, you’ll find a Bordeaux that goes well with red meats, pork loin, lamb, turkey, and hard cheeses. The finish lingers pleasantly and end each swallow with a desire for “just one more please!”
