Margaux Red Bordeaux Blend

I really liked this. Elegant finish, acidity was great,. Graphite/ rocky, raspberry notes. I always like a good Margaux.

Bold and wonderful

Decanted for 45 minutes. Inviting Floral violet & rose petal and dark fruit aromas. BlackBerry. Plum, violet, graphite, and mushrooms. Approachable now with a decant but recommend holding ancouple years.

I am slightly biased towards merlot dominant Bordeaux blends but damn. I love the flavour profile. This is drinking very well, from a good vintage.

Medium bodied, dry, low tannin with medium plus alcohol. Notes of oak, mushroom, leather, black fruit and currant. Earthy notes with medium finish.

Medium bodied, dark earthy notes with black fruit and currents.
