Le Château Syrah Cabernet Franc

Intense deep raspberry aromas. This bottle was open for two days before I tried it. (Leftover from a party I was not at.). Didn’t taste oxidized at all, was actually surprisingly fresh for a quarter of a bottle left. Quite tannic even though it was 10 years old, though integrated and resolving. Would be curious what a fresh bottle will be like in a few more years.

This was fantastic. Complex. Great color. Nice tannins. Probably can drink for another 10 years.

Had this with Syrian food few days ago. Goes perfectly with baba ghanouj, walnut dip and tabouleh.

Very nice though oaky but once it opens up it is rather good

Dried cherries and tobacco take the lead on a wine that is precisely handcraft to perfection. Ready to drink now but highlights potential for further ageing.
