This wine takes me back to my childhood. The spicy, citrus and acidity and perfect to pair with anything with slight fat or starch and vegetables. On nose this wine has lemon zest, curry leaf, rosemary and oregano. On the palate, the citrus continues with rosemary, oregano and lemon zest. Pair with a mushroom or spring vegetable risotto. Hints of caramel, raspberry jam and pickled green olives on the nose with hints of raspberry with strong salinity on the palate. Medium body and acidity. I would decant this wine. Good with fatty food like steak, duck, reindeer and venison. — 3 years ago
A beautiful unfiltered sake with banana, white peaches and green apple on the nose with sour papaya, pineapple, fresh coconut and lemon zest. This sake starts out a little tart on the palate and smooths out in 4 to 5 seconds and leaves a luscious creaminess on the palate that goes well with medium fatty fish. Tempranillo, merlot and petit syrah blend aged 6 months in neutral oak.
Nose: ripe red cherries, roasted plum, licorice and some baking spices.
Palate: stewed cherries, plum and deep rd stonefruit notes. Medium plus acidity, high tannins. Definitely needs decantin. Delicious! — a year ago
