Bright and a touch spicy, with a silky texture that makes it very food friendly

Enjoyed this more than I thought I would. Anise and minerality, but also has a real herbal freshness.

Lovely vanilla and strawberry aromas. Silky for a 2010 with baby tannins that will round out in a few years. Impressive right out of the bottle.

Open aromas but light fruit make this vintage a "drink now" wine. Should pair well with simpler foods (sirloin cheeseburger and sweet potato fries!)

Wood, tobacco, spices, earth, dust and wax. Bitter tannins, dark berries jam with a pinch of sugar at the tip of the tongue. Complexity under control. I give it a nine!

One of my favorites. Well balanced. So easy to drink. 2010 vintage. I’d buy more cases if I could!

I was surprised by how approachable this is for such a young vintage. Plum, fig, wood spice, caramel, and slight hint of mushroom. Silky yet firm tannins. Good QPR for a Pomerol.
