The 2020 Beauregard has a well-defined bouquet with raspberry and cranberry fruit, cedar and light pencil box aromas. This fulfills its promise from barrel, while the palate is well balanced with pliant tannins, fresh and saline with a slightly ferrous finish. This is an excellent Beauregard that will give up to 20 years of drinking pleasure. (Neal Martin, Vinous, February 2023)

2018 vintage. Rich, seductive nose. Supple medium-heavy chassis. Youthful but fairly showy with sumptuous baby fat, blue fruit and lavender/dill comprising the final act. Would love to taste this again in 7–10 years.

Special aroma coming out from my glass, with black currant flavor. Good balanced. Smooth. Enough concentration, tanning, and spiciness. Mushroom. Vanilla flavor. @1800, Fwine - XH, 200422-200502

Big fruit on the nose. Cherries and oak. Lingers for eons. Still very young
, could use a good 10 more years.

Sipping Fine Wine

Chateau takes its name from the founder of the estate, Bernard Beauregard. The property was created in 1677, making it one of the older estates in the Pomerol appellation. A blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cab Franc. Fresh berry fruit aromas with notes of floral and earthy tones. On the palate red raspberry and fresh picked cherry flavors with soft oak and black pepper, vivid acidity on fine tannins. Medium finish ending a bit sharp with spice. Drink now.
