I like this and it’s a great example of left bank. 2012 too, so a good example from a tough vintage. Has been open for two days.
It’s very typical of the region so it’s song is complex and stately, with a quiet grace. Oaky tannins leap forth, very dusty and earthy. Some pipe tobacco notes. Generous blackberry flavors and a hint of mint on the backend. Good structure and in prime drinking state right now.

Bright ruby red color. Strawberry, red cherry, cinnamon and clover on the nose. Almost like a Pinot. Medium and soft tannin, but way too bitter, structure is pretty simple and thin. I didn't get much. 13% alc. 2012 vintage
