Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend

Nice wine in need of a little more maturity. Take another look in 24 months

A newish bottling from Lafite - more Merlot dominated compared to its other, more august Pauillac blends. Nice with some interesting sour metallic minerality. Fruit expresses well and the tannins are actually decently integrated already. Would be a great burger wine. Try again in a couple years.

We decanted 2 hours before the meal and this time the wine was much better. Great balance ! Will dig in a bit more over the next years.

Dark rubi robe, nose of violets, liquorice, spices and top soil. Needs 3 more years in the cellar and will sing. Excellent cabernet wine, on the expensive side.
