This is serious Beaujolais. Not your typical simple, party Gamay. If you were to give me this blind, I’d think a weird Syrah. On the nose: funky, wheat, bramble, meat, Brett. On the tongue: tart red fruit, meat, cherry. Silky texture and mouth feel. A delicious wine with a sense of natural, but not something I would personally repurchase. Too funky for me.
