Top Notes For
Sipping Fine Wine

The blend is somewhat of a mystery but has Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, and Petite Syrah grapes, maybe a splash of something else from year to year. Deep Ruby color with aromas of dark fruits and an array of spices. On the palate flavors of black plum, raspberry and cacao with notes of toasty oak, baking spices and earthy notes. Fine tannins, medium finish ending with fruit, spice and earthy notes. Recommend to chill in frig for about 15-20 minutes before serving.

It's tart, fruity, and a bit sweet. Not very complex. Ok for sipping.

Interesting to find a 2011, but it was a gift and I'm always grateful, so I drank it! Very fruity, loads of luxardo sweet cherry, plum, cinnamon/nutmeg, lack in tannin structure, and no real personality, but really easy to drink. . it is what it is meant to be; a table red, to be drunk. Not really my style, but the Wagner family doesn't particularly like anything under ripe, so that's what they make.

An excellent red blend from California.
Dark inky/ ruby in color.

Very intense nose of vanilla, licorice, cedar, blackberries, figs, raisins and black pepper.

Full bodied and rich, with nice legs.

Dry and very fruity on the palate with blackberries, figs, raisins, spices, vanilla and wood.

Medium finish with smooth tannins.

You got to love vanilla to enjoy this, though.

14% alcohol by volume.
