Citrus zest, tangerine and a touch of honey. Crisp and dry with med-high acidity that can be overpowering at times. Paired well with an arugla and steak salad with chimicurri dressing. ($9) [1/4/2016]

The wrinkly, silver haired grocery store wine aisle guy (who made every effort to talk to me at length about travels to wine destinations he and his wife shall one day soon enjoy) recommended "this outstanding Pinot Grigios from this crazy winemaker, Charles Smith, from up in Washington".
So close to retirement I did not want to let the old cook down, so I grabbed the bottle and I too wished myself far away from forced conversations with dreamy elderly yearning for a life yet unlived.
Drinking this wine, I found myself where disappointment and regret collide with the sound of settling amongst a backdrop of citrus and peach.
A good wine for gardening off season.

Good balance of crispness and fruitiness. Surprisingly good at its price point. Will definitely purchase again.

Very aromatic. Light and crisp, very nice. Just not for me.
