Muted nose of lemon/lemon meringue, lime, pineapple, grapefruit with pit, a soapy character, soft chalkiness and white & yellow spring flowers. Palate has edgy powdery chalkiness, citrus zest blend, pineapple, body has a gummy like character like the nose, the acidity is beautifully round, fresh, lively and the finish is tangy and delicious. Very chug-able. Photos of; the front of Charles Smith Wines tasting room in downtown Walla Walla and a couple of shots of the tasting room interior.

Perfect PG, full of apple and lime flavors, with a smooth crisp finish. Paired nicely with Isreali-style Mediterranean cuisine.

Citrus zest, tangerine and a touch of honey. Crisp and dry with med-high acidity that can be overpowering at times. Paired well with an arugla and steak salad with chimicurri dressing. ($9) [1/4/2016]

Nice Pinot Grigio 2013 from Washington! Lot of minerality and tropical fruits, great for pairing with sea food...

Pale yellow in color. Aromas of grapefruit, lemon, guava, peach, coconut, and cream. Palate follows up with honey, oak, chalk, grass, and hay. Medium acidity balanced with crispness and a smooth, easygoing finish. Bargain buy from Grocery Outlet.
