I would love to serve this blind in a group of like year cabs from Napa that fetch 200+ per bottle. This wine is massive. Posted one year ago and mentioned this one didn't seem to be ready to go yet. Well, this one is CLOSER but still took a 2 day slow ox. Nose is black and blue fruit, gingerbread, licorice. The entry is similar to the nose with a crushed, gravelly note. Peppery finish. Man this one is SINGING at the 2 day mark. One left!

Aug 26th, 201810 years old and this wine has aged just about -1 years. Blind tasting I would say this was a 2014 pre-release from Moon Mountain. Even after an hour this wine was still super locked up. The nose was all blackberry and black pepper. The palate was blackberry cinnamon scone with some chalky blueberry in the middle. Peppery finish. YOUTHFUL wine!!

Nov 6th, 2015Rich, velvety, plush goodness washes over the tongue and lingers like high quality dark chocolate melting slowly. Plum, blackberry, currant, black pepper, leather and cedar all blend wonderfully.
