Love the story behind Generations. Not as much love for the wine itself.

Very dark, concentrated and delicious. Cassis and plum are the main drivers, with some blackberry and wet dark earth in there. Also a clean mineral note as well. Palate is silky and finish is long and mouthwatering. Great wine in a good vintage.

Was concerned about the vintage yet it held up. Focused on the nose-plowed earth, spice and oak. Dry and green on the palate-wet sage, dusty currants and back to the plowed earth. Well balanced tannins and acidity that display a lingering gripping finish that stays.

Black fruit driven. Alcohol a little too high, but smooth tannins.
