I wish these clowns weren't pictured on the label; but otherwise, they are doing it right. Crisp, clean apple and citrus fruit, with an appealing vanilla oak veneer. Whole cluster fermented, sur lees for 7 months, 25% new french oak.

This Chard is not very complex, however it does show a good crisp character and acidity. Notes of apple and lemon. Although at first the finish is somewhat bitter, it develops into light butter, oak and toastiness. Great table wine. I always let this wine breathe or decant for at least one hour, then put it back in the bottle and chill it.
