Even better than "The Fire." Intensely smokey, with blueberry and blackberry notes alongside spices and charred wood. These wines are delish.

The winery was founded by Mark Tarlov, co-founder of Evening Land, and Louis‑Michel Liger‑Belair.
This is very good for an entry-level bottling. The fruits are remarkably fresh at 10 years. BlackBerry, raspberry, cranberry, strawberry along with steeped black tea and hint of cinnamon.
Salivating acidity with round edge. Great pairing for turkey.
Happy Thanksgiving!

I adore the '12 vintage of this wine (however, in a blind tasting it showed like RRV PN, which is not a compliment), but this btl showed as, for lack of a more precise term, gloop. On the nose: sweet rose, orange, cranberry, black tea. On the palate: ok acidity, cranberry, black tea, disjointed acidity, orange peel...consistent with the nose, but not so compelling.

Tart cherries, green apple, pomegranate, and spice that overlays it all through the finish. Simple flavors but easy to drink.
