I used to own some 04’s-09’s that always over-delivered for around $36-$40ish. Now $80-$90. The 22 was good and showed me their quality & consistency over the many years hasn’t slipped.

This wine pours a beautiful purple-red. It has a nice nose and beautiful silky texture. Nice flavors of cherries, boysenberries, and cocoa. This was a birthday gift from good friends Agnes and Rich. I’m not sure that I would spend $90 for it. Nevertheless it went perfectly with the prime ribeye steaks we paired it with.
