My first experience with bubbles from the U.K.. if I was blind tasted on this, I swear I was drinking a Crémant d’Alsace. Must be the hint of Pinot Blanc. Excellent acids, excellent finish, excellent balance.

Not sure why this is labeled as a white blend as it’s 50% Pinot Noir but it is a white wine so maybe that is why. Fun mix of refined bubbles with some ruddy practicality underlying all. Aka the bubbs be plush and the flavors say home.

A crystal like pale yellow with a moderate amount of persistent bubbles and effervescence. The star of the show here is the nose with aromas of citrus fruits and yeast. Strawberries and apples stand out particularly. The ripe fruit continues throughout.

The addition of Pinot Blanc to the usual three varietal suspects makes this a bit distinctive. Lively acidity and plenty of fruit on the palate. Pears, lemons, and ripe strawberries in the mouth with chalk and nuts complimenting. This is a really good example of the high quality of British Bubbles nowadays.

I would find it difficult to tell the difference between this and a Lidl cheapo bottle.
