Champagne Lallier
Grande Réserve Grand Cru Champagne Blend
Disgorged Sept 2020 after 3 years on its lees. 65% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay. This is a deeply flavored Champagne that really shows it’s Grand Cru pedigree. There is a lot of toast, brioche and lemon drop on the nose and beautiful red apple, raspberry and wild strawberry on the palate. There is steely minerality but generous fruit as well and a satisfying, long finish. I might wish for just a bit more restraint and finesse but this is a great bargain for this quality. Very good

Biscuits, brioche with lemon, ripe apple and some delicate mineral notes. Delicious and not over pretentious.
