Happy #FizzyFriday folks! It’s coming into rosé season and there’s no better way to kick it off than with a champagne rosé!
This Brut Rosé from Duperrey is made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. It retails for $47 at Dan Murphy’s which is pretty decent for a French Champagne.
It’s a peachy pink colour in the glass with plentiful streams of dancing bubbles. On the nose it’s full of effervescence with notes of sweet peaches 🍑, musk perfume, raspberries, red apple, citrus and a bit of toast. In the mouth it has wonderfully refreshing lemon acidity with a super smooth mousse (mouthfeel) and it reminds me of raspberry sorbet. Delightful!
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #sample #tcweekdaywine #tctastingnotes
