Stainless Central Coast Unoaked Pinot Noir

While most Pinot Noir from Chamisal Vineyards is aged in oak barrels, this wine is fermented and aged in stainless steel casks, resulting in fresh and fruit forward flavors. On the nose, there are aromas of dark cherry and violet, followed by bright flavors of plum and cranberry on the palate and a smooth, lingering finish.

Awesome fruit-forward Pinot Noir from San Luis Obispo. Not nearly as dry as oaked wines. Better on its own, without food.

Eh just ok. Tasted almost too prune-like and sweet.
