While most Pinot Noir from Chamisal Vineyards is aged in oak barrels, this wine is fermented and aged in stainless steel casks, resulting in fresh and fruit forward flavors. On the nose, there are aromas of dark cherry and violet, followed by bright flavors of plum and cranberry on the palate and a smooth, lingering finish. — 9 years ago

This classic old world wine is an elegant blend of the Grenache, Cinsault, and Syrah grapes. It is a medium bodied wine with notes of leather, tobacco, and slight smoke on the nose. Those are followed by ripe red berry and vibrant black pepper notes on the palate, and supported by subtle tannins. This Cotes du Rhone is smooth and approachable.
