Estate Bottled Chalk Hill Sauvignon Blanc

Smooth. Full bodied. Has a little oakiness. Almost like a light Chardonnay

Killer for the money.

Loads of cat pee, toast and a mellow whatever in the mid palate.

Nice straw, floral and melon notes.

A bit oaky for SB. Tasted better a little warmer than usual. Great with salmon, though.

So nice and clean with bold pear flavor

For the price, it's relatively unchallenged in terms of SB. But overall, it leaves much to he desired. In a pinch, it's accessible, inexpensive ($25), & consistent. Noticeable oak notes, & the color you'd expect from a SB.

High acid, Oakey but smooth. Good with lime chicken.

Smells better than it tastes, but tastes fairly well
