Nov 17th, 2017Deep garnet red with a touch of ruby in the core. Aged nose with notes of plums, damp earth, truffles and tobacco. Medium tannins (5.5/10) and medium bodied. A touch toasty on the palate with burnt cherries, bark and some cocoa leaves. Medium to medium plus finish. Drink till 2018.

Dark cocoa and espresso beans on the palate, even a bit of dark berries and bark. Slight minerality in he medium plus finish. Drink till 2018.

Jan 16th, 2017Dark red. Fruit forward nose with creme de cassis and green peppers. Dryer than the 2007 Quivet Spring Mountain District Cabernet. Moderate tannins and body that are well integrated. Finish lingers and is drinking great right now. 10 years has done well for this wine.
