Deep garnet red. Interesting nose with lots on woody notes, vegetal, leather, soft dark berries and spices. Medium tannins (5.5/10) and medium bodied. Dark berries on the palate with some spices and forest floor. Even a little mushrooms and oaky notes. Medium plus finish. Drink till 2018.

Dark red. Fruit forward nose with creme de cassis and green peppers. Dryer than the 2007 Quivet Spring Mountain District Cabernet. Moderate tannins and body that are well integrated. Finish lingers and is drinking great right now. 10 years has done well for this wine.
