Dark garnet red and a touch of ruby with bricking edges. Dark spices on the nose, dark cocoa, dark berries, and a little dirty. Medium tannins (5.5/10) and medium bodied. Dark plums on the palate with some earthiness, spices and a bit more acidity than the 2003. Medium to medium plus finish. Drink till 2019.

Garnet red with some browning on the edges. Nose was definitely tight to start, with a couple hours of air it changes from chalky and savory to some dark berries. Kind of all mixed together. Cassis and blackberries in the attack with some earthy and vegetal undertones. Moderate tannins (6.5/10) and a moderate body. Slightly furry moderate plus finish. Drink till 2019.

Big earth elements with wet tobacco and black fruit. Enjoying the age on this, Karen gets earth worms, do not get the bordeaux reference. Putting this with a bone in Ribeye.

Delicious. Strong aromas of lush black currant mix with blackberry jam on the palate. Rich, opulent mouth feel. Smooth long finish. Thanks for sharing dad, best I've had in a while!
