Deep garnet core with bricking edges. Took some time to open up with some charred meats, dark berries, dark cocoa, truffles, and damp forest floor. Good bit of acidity and medium tannins (6/10). Notes of herbs, dark red berries, anise, spices and forest floor. Medium plus finish. Drink till 2019.

Nov 17th, 20172003 brought by a friend! First time for self. Still had life with 13 years of bottle age. Soft tannins with gorgeous fruit component. Great with boned in ribeye at Chophouse dinner with Monday night wine group. A solid 92!
