Well … it’s always a treat to drink something so old. Yet, a bit musty (as in lacking energy yet with just a hint of the other - beautiful ‘must’) and very peppery. Still … interesting and enjoyable.

Outperformed. Decanted 6 hours before service and stored in the cellar. Really beautiful. Purists will raise an eyebrow, but it all came together here.
Making a point this summer to pull bottles I might not go to—for all kinds of reasons. Some have been clunkers. Not this one.
