2013 Ceretto Barolo. The King!!!! Just like its counterpart, barbaresco - the Queen- this beautiful wine has an amazing bouquet of strawberry jelly on toast. The palate is full of cherries and pomegranate. Unlike a pinot noir, there is a tart component followed by leather and tobacco notes. There is a hint of mint on the moderately dry finish. This is a beautiful wine. It is slightly more acidic and minty on the finish than the barbaresco. Long live the King!
