Medium red to orange in color, showing age fairly early in my opinion. Red cherry, eucalyptus, and forest floor on the nose. Medium plus acidity--almost high. 14.5 ABV. Strong tart red cherry forward on the palate. Anise, roses, and some tertiary flavors of dried leaves emerging. Tannins are firm. Young, sorry to wake you up bro.

Jul 25th, 2021Lovely aromas of dried cherry and currants. Pallet also features these two fruits along with raspberry, black licorice, warm spices and ash. Beautifully delicate texture, but there is still excellent structure, fine tannins and balanced acidity. Elegant! This might be Ceretto’s entry level-multi vineyard Barbaresco, but it is outstanding! Thank you Keith S. Revisited in July 2022. Still outstanding! Additional notes of rose petals and Forrest Floor.
