Great structure here with fleshy berries and a fair amount of tannin. This vintage is rather woodsy in character showing as cedar instead of tomato leaf. Almost Cab Franc like in nature. This is quite a lot of wine for $30 on the shelf.

Apr 9th, 2026I feel like I vastly underrated this previously. So high toned and fleshy with small red berries, black cherry, orange peel, and hot gravel. Give it an hour in the decanter. Terrific balance.
