Cellers Can Blau
Garnacha Syrah
Restaurant La Boca in Santa Fe, small popular spot for Spanish tapas with nice selection of Spanish wines is where we tried this wine.
Great, versatile Spanish red wine. It comes from a recently created wine district called Montsant which was craved out of the older, better known district of Priorat in NE Spain.
It is a blend of 40% Carignon (termed Mazuelo on the bottle), 40% Syrah and 20% Garnacha.
About $16 a bottle at Argonaut Wine Store in Denver. Why does Delectable say it's not available!?
Just say no to the Republican plan to steal from everyone and give to the rich.
Enjoyed with garlicky fingerling potatoes, blue cheese and figs, paella and chocolatey dessert.

Yet another Spanish red that rounds out my all time favorites. This time from Monsant, the rocky terroir gives the bold fruit an edge that defines its strength. Tannic, juicy, and nuanced depth give way to balanced finesse with a little breathing. High satisfaction for low cost.
