Blend of Grenache, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Light ruby/garnet color with a slight brick rim. Aromas of minerals, dried blueberries, purple flowers and oak. Blue/blackberry and black currant fruit on the palate along with notes of dark chocolate, tar and black licorice. Pleasant mineral note on the medium length finish. Though its power has faded over time, this unfiltered wine shows nice balance and a smooth texture. A bit past its prime but still drinkable and interesting. Appreciate the bottle Petey P!
