This more recent 2019 vintage shows much better than the 2013 I previously tried. Nose shows apricot, floral and some marzipan nutty notes. Drinks quite hot on palate as you notice that 14.5% ABV, missing some acidity but decent complexity on the finish. #priorat #garnachablanca

Jul 13th, 2024A little bit weird and funky on this white blend. Cork was wax-dipped so no oxidation, but at 10 years stored at the winemaker cellar it has aged to a dark caramel color. Same notes on the nose, nutty tones. Muted Sherry notes on palate. It’s interesting to me but repulsed other tasters in our group. #priorat
