Excellent structure, with fruit, acids, and puckery tannins all combining for a delicious, but powerful wine. Its 15.8% abv is well integrated, but that doesn't mean it's not there. Dark and purple-y. Smells like wood and black cherry sauce. Flavor is nice. Dry, hearty and licorice-y. Has that classic petite backbone of tannin and berry syrup. It’s a very nice example.

Pretty label, perfect cork. 13 years old. Leather, cigar box, lacquer on the nose. Dark fruit like fig. Really earthy.
