Dense and powerful dark berry fruit, lots of floral, pepper. Edges have smoothed out since the last bottle and overall much more balanced. Delicious!

Lovely cool vintage St.-Joseph-ish style; black olive, sage & lavender layered over blueberries and bitter cherries. Bright and fresh, but you can find just as good for way less in the northern Rhône.

I'm not sure if I want to be a Northern Rhone or CA North Coast Syrah, but woefully unsuccessful at either. Aromatically, a dark cherry Fruit Roll-Up; on the palate, the same. I'd rather have the Fruit Roll-Up.

Not quite as stellar as my previous cayuse bottles. Ok up front, but lacking a bit on the mid palate and finish.
